So I've never been a big fan of valentines day. Its not the whole "singles awareness day" thing, it's more like, every guy I date is usually an asshat so they ruin the day and I just think that you should do things for the people that you love all the time, not just one day a year.
So I'll start off with my worst valentines day. I'd have to say it was when I was living with my old roommates and I had a sinus infection but my boyfriend and I went out to a rave that night with them anyway. I left early in the night to go home, take some niquil and sleep. My roommate texted me asking if it was cool if some people came over from the rave and I said sure, just make sure you stay quiet. She brought home everyone at the rave. DJs, bartenders, attendees, the whole bit. I woke up at like 1am to some guy knocking on my door, asking me to open it and when I didn't he called me a druggie bitch. So I opened the door to yell at him and he was gone, I asked my roommate who it was and she told me she didn't know who it was. They were so loud I was up all night.
The best V-day was actually this one. I met a guy about a week ago and we've been hanging out a lot. We spent Friday together, he stayed the night and was with me most of Saturday. It was a cool, calm day pretty much. He eventually asked me to go steady so I guess I have a boyfriend now! It's pretty cool, definitely unexpected but I was just thrilled to have spent a valentines day with someone who didn't treat me like shit or just want to party with their friends instead. Although, there's nothing wrong with a v-day spent single. In fact, I've enjoyed dating myself a lot in the past. I'm a pretty damn good girlfriend.
