A bit of advice for all you MORRISSEY fans out there...
LEAVE THE FUCKIN" MAN ALONE!!!
Just got back from the T.O. gig at the Humingbird Centre. It was my first time seeing the Moz himself and he put on wicked show, but let me tell you...HIS FANS ARE FREAKS! I think I must have counted well over 20 people on the floor who rushed him on stage. Sometimes it would be one or two who would leap up and attempt to grope his hand, but then there groups of 4 or 5 that would take complete advantage of the lack of security and fight their way past the bouncers. This went on steadily throughout the evening, and I seriously thought they were gonna pull the plug on the show early. I felt totally nervous for the man, watching him dodge and pause from singing only because his loser fans couldn't control themselves.
Just a reminder for you people who think it's ok to attack Morrissey on stage:
You people look like morons. Especially those of you pushing 30
You are nothing more than an anonymous fan. You don't know this man, you have no right to pounce on him like a long-lost lover.
Morrissey doesn't know you, when you charge him like a bull, he probably shits himself in fear.
When he has to stop singing in order to shake you lunatics off, it pisses us sane people off!
Last but not least, GET A LIFE!!!
LEAVE THE FUCKIN" MAN ALONE!!!

Now theres a show I'd pay top dollar to see!
Your friendly neighborhood teddykev
I'm happy you have Thanksgiving plans with your family. That's what it's all about. New England does Autumn very well as well, and I love this time of year. There's something electric, fresh and bracing about the air that mingles with the vibrant, violent shouts of the dying leaves...the passing of the past and the promise of new things to come.
So many great things happen when I take a week off from SG. My addled brain has just realized that arachne is no longer grey (see? our foresight in keeping her on our friends list wasn't foolish optimism) and must go say hello.
More later...and I promise to make the effort to keep my presence a little more...um...present here!
