Words will never express the range of emotions I experience every time I see this band play live.
I just got back from the Toronto show an hour ago. My heart is throbbing, singing, and weeping. I've loved this band for 17 years now, and with each live show a heart-string I never thought existed always gets tugged.
They ended off the third and final encore with Ocean Rain. My best friend wrapped her arms around me and together we gently swayed as we both quietly sang every word along with Ian.
Echo and the Bunnymen mean more to me than any other band I've ever loved.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you Ian, Will, Les, and the late Pete Defreitas for bringing your music into this world.
My love..forever
