A sonnet for Vincent Millay..
We have never been damsels in distress.
No enchantment imposed ill-gotten sleep.
Although thorn-ed stems drag on our breast,
I shall be bleeding, not a dust-covered heap.
Bob my wild splitting hair afore his ascent.
Ne'er bite fruit lest pluck'd from our boughs.
Our slender fingers are bare by consent.
Tadpoles in jars aren't for kisses or vows.
And if blossom?s juice be smear?d on our lid,
We'll capture Puck - play our mischief instead.
Charm?d by Defiance; shan't your touch be forbid-
We dance past midnight, then fall into bed.
Sun bruises sky as it falls to the ground,
Tender lips, scorched by day, poised as a frown.
On this swollen night, must thy breath remain bound?
O suffer me Vincent, to unhook your gown..

Charm?d by Defiance; shan't your touch be forbid-
We dance past midnight, then fall into bed.
Sun bruises sky as it falls to the ground,
Tender lips, scorched by day, poised as a frown.
On this swollen night, must thy breath remain bound?
O suffer me Vincent, to unhook your gown..

um....a tip for an SG newbie? the norm here is that you reply to a person's post in their journal, not your own. counterintuitive, but that's the tradition. on the boards, of course, you post and reply in the same thread.
tell me about the pills.
