i feel sick...too much chocolate....ouchy ive got toothache now! frown i shouldnt have eaten the whole packet!!

dan is leaving me this weekend cos he's going away with some friends...he'll have a fun time, he needs it so that he can recover from being really ill last weekend! he's gone all skinny in his face...bless! whatever

eeek.. do you know most of the major texts regarding "auter" eg Truffauts "cahiers du cinema" stuff? most of the french new wave dudes were obssesed with it and it permeated all of their film making.. (eg alain Resnais, Goddard) with regards to british cinema directors such as Ken russel, Peter Greenaway, Derek Jarman... but the one i'd go for would be Hitchcock as he is often referd to as the father of the auter... he is always name checked by the new wave guys and they used a lot of ink writing about his work. Plus there is a mountain of info on Hitchcock, all of his films are available and most of his themes/ traits are easy to pic up... hope that helps??!!?? x x x x x kiss
