mad SO MAD mad

I've been wanting to get my nose pierced for a while now. Just a tiny, cute little stud...nothing crazy. Now, I work in a corporate office and I wasn't sure how they'd feel about it so I asked someone in HR. She said she'd advise against it. Technically, it's not allowed. I'm just so put out by this! I mean, come on now!...

It's easy to hide tattoos and piercings. My parents never saw mine, except the piercing on my neck.
idyll:
Yeah, totally. Just put your tat somewhere else. And there are LOTS of hidden places to poke holes! Don't let stupid rules stop you.

Also, I used to teach kindergarten and piercings were frowned upon. But I made it a point to always show up on time, stay late, work hard and all around dazzle my co-workers and the parents of my students with my committment. My nose ring was totally overlooked. KARAOKE!

I lost my karaoke virginity last night!** Yeah! My pals and I went to a hole in the wall place in Koreatown that was BYOB and had the biggest list of songs I have ever seen. I had to wait for the goddam bus for 40 FREAKIN MINUTES and it was, I swear, -5 degrees with wind chill. Every time a strong gust came all I could think was "not fair, dude, not fair". Don't you hate...

Not sure about this...

I've never kept a blog before. I dunno...I don't think I like them. I find them too narcissistic. But who am I kidding, right? We're all narcissistic and I'm no exception. I guess what I find the most self-absorbed is the assumption that other people want to read your day-to-day drivel. It's a public diary. Do you want to read my...
