It revolves around me,
The shadow knows the name.
Utterance lost upon the wind
I am left devastated.
How could I not be.

Had I not known?
They seemed to approve
The cold drink still left on the table.
I left it there to its misery.
Loneliness I know too well.

Searing pain at first,
Then fades away to nothing.
Always different, this time complete
Lack of sound, sense disappeared.
A vast nothingness holds me.

I belong here.
