WORST NEW YEARS EVE EVER!
I almost DIED! I needed to get my tooth fixed but my dentist could't see me for 22 days. About 10 days before my appointment my tooth became absessed and my face swelled up SOOOO huge my jaw swelled shut and I couldn't eat for 7 days! I drank broth through a straw. I lost 7 pounds in 10 days! My body temp was close too 103! And I was in sooo much pain! I went to get antibiotics and the doctor gave me the wrong ones so it got worse and worse. On new years eve I went to a dentist and he looked at me and said " you need to go to the ER right now or you wont live past the weekend. YOU WILL DIE!" I went and they put an I.V. in my arm, gave me the right antibiotics, morphine and fluids because i was so under weight from not being able to eat. I spent the night in the hospital. The next day they did a CT scan....so they injected dye in to my vanes and put me in a big machine...scary! The infection did NOT spread to my lungs, heart or brain. they called a dentist but because my jaw was swollen shut she had to put a this metal spreader and pry my mouth open. it takes 15 shots in my gums for me to be numb and not feel pain....she gave me 2 and it was a molar so the roots were deep and huge. A few hours later I went home. I got a call from a friend saying one of my other friends died over Christmas from an infection of the brain caused by a root canal. HAPPY FUCKING NEW YEAR!
