My good friend Kit kindly gave me this account so I thought I would give this whole updating my journal thing a go seeing as though I am incredibly bored and have a bit of free time.

I moved to Leeds last week which has been very overwhelming and strange, but my new room is starting to look a little like home in a funny sort of way. I have even managed to eat properly which contradicts most people's expectations of me, although I have yet to do a wash which is where I feel I will come crashing down in spectacular fashion. Just look out for a girl in tiny jumpers and tinted pink t-shirts, and that'll be me.

My course actually starts tomorrow which I am looking forward to, as I had started to feel a little aimless getting up at 2 every day and getting drunk every night. Two of my best friends have come to Leeds too (Kit and her boyfriend Danny) so I have had people to explore with and we have found some really cool places and met some really nice people. I still feel a little adrift at the moment, but I suppose that after only a week I can't really expect anything else.

Leeds is really cool, but I sort of have the feeling I left my heart in Manchester...
