Ok.. so I was at the cooking store looking for a juicer for oranges and lemons, right?
So this gay guy who I've never seen working there before - he's kinda, tall, effeminate, shy, with the slight lisp.. anyways.. and he'd started chatting with me about where I go to school, if I'm a chef (cooking store people always ask me that) what I'm taking in school, etc. So I'm looking around for this juicer and I'm like "Do you have any more besides these steel ones?"
He's like "Oh yes, we have have a glass one." And pulls it off the shelf..
Then he says, I couldn't believe it - "Do you know these are called glass reamers? while looking right at me suggestively. Hahahahaha. Then he gave me 10% off on both things I bought.
Huh. Well I'm on the up side of this roller coster ride. It feels good when the nice guy at the cooking store flirts with you and gives you a discount on your purchases. Now I feel all warm and tingly.
Update on my last two entries - I'm not 100% certain yet, but it seems that the Film School offer was for a loan, not a scholarship, therefore simplifying my choice of whether to go or not. Confirmation on this in a few days probably. The payment plan on the Gretsch is a bit shorter (must be paid off in a year) than what I thought - doubling the amount of the monthly payments and therefore just keeping it out of affordability for the immediate future. I might be able to swing something by Christmas time. We shall see. Since I've been wanting the laptop for longer, and there's no chance I'll let it go to waste, it makes sense to get it. (although of the people polled the Gretsch came in over the Powerbook) The other reason is that my father is going to lend me his Starburst Fender Telecaster, therefore curbing my immediate need of an awesome electric guitar.
The Gretsch will be something to pick up in the future.
I've realized (thanks to a few discussions with Sorcha) that me odd moods have likely been the result of a hightened post-relationship rebound effect. I've never been victim to the effect before, but now it's in full-force.
So if anyone wants to shower me with love, attention, cuisine, sex, and/or presents.. I'm open to suggestion.
Wishlist now in full effect.
