I'm gripped by la grippe. With 0 days off for the next few weeks it doesn't give me much time to recover. I want to go outside and go to the gym, not huddle inside wrapped in blankets like an invalid. Even though I'm apparently "incredibly cute" when I'm all sick, weak and vulnerable.

I would need to read the book again but I think the gist of it was that Brown reckons he isn't putting people 'under' but that the are somehow (subconsciously) playing along. Then again isn't that exactly what suggestion is?
I love his earlier stuff where he performs small scale tricks like getting track staff to pay out on losing race tickets.
