I was talking to an old ex of mine the other day (she's kind of like the female version of me, I know, scary thought) both bemoaning the fact it's nearly impossible to find someone these days that's cool to date who's also awesome in the sack.

It's like going birdwatching for the dodo or passenger pigeons.

In other news:

- helped recover a laptop that was stolen in New Zealand, while my friend was still in New Zealand

- Got awesome pair of octopus socks (gift from same ex)

- Bought a kettlebell

- Got asked for dating advice from an archived SG

- Started to play a game of chess via snail mail

- had a pleasant evening of tea and chocolatines with Pumpkin and Kali, exchanged hilarious stories, provided interesting information about SPERM WARS

- been reading "the 4 Hour Body"

- Discovered the average straight man sleeps with 7 women in his lifetime

- signed up for a course to become a certified hypnotist

- putting dominoes of my life in place

- had a bad date

- ate a mindblowing maple bar

- posted some new blog entries on I Love Eggs Benedict
& Dress as Smart as You Are

- setting up dates that hopefully won't suck

- made a delicious rose basil sauce with pasta

- got invited back to China (no thanks)

- trying to figure out which friends he might be able to visit abroad this year
