I've been very tired lately. Trying to work 2 so-so paying jobs to have enough money and pay off some debt.
One of my jobs is incredibly boring and I mostly sit around reading all the time. I like reading, but it's a job where you feel like you're being paid to kill time, not work, and there's no sense of challenge or advancement.
A friend of mine has hooked me up with a connection to the McGill Library, and I've been able to start reading a backlog of books that I've been wanting to check out for a long time, but were too rare / expensive to get my hands on.
I've applied for my old job back, which would be nice because it pays, and I might possibly try to go abroad again to teach English.. this grind is really wearing me out, and on top of it I'm feeling a little lonely.
In my spare time I've been applying to various jobs, going out a little bit, watching movies, and working on some hobbies - origami, card manipulation, etc.
So yeah.. kind of meh today.
