I've been in Pamplona less than 10 hours
- I was approached by a man and had a conversation (in Basque) where he told me he was a supporter of the Basque liberation movement and a free Quebec
- Had delicious fried ham and cheese sticks
- having all of his clothes properly washed
- is having a photo of himself published in the Diario de Navarra - a statewide spanish newspaper
- having dinner cooked for him by a native Pamplonian
- having hash brownies made by his couchsurfing host
So despite the 15 km of struggling through mud and almost falling down twice on killer blisters.. today is pretty awesome.
