It's not easy bein' me
Masker of me own deskiny
And I hates responsibiliky
It's not easy bein' me
Lately I've been mining the Popeye soundtrack like it's some lost repository of Taoist wisdom, which it just may be.
It's not easy living the life of a young Montrealer. It's all booze on terraces, gorgeous girls who you date, gorgeous girls who are your friends and give you free stuff, concerts, bicycles and ra ra ra. Saturday night was the big party concert for the Montreal Biennale at the SAT feat. Les Georges Leningrad provided the music for an Asparagus Ballet, Paper Rad with weird videos making fun of popular 90s bands (Stone Temple Pilots anyone?), Lesbians on Esctasy with a pseudo-chorus doing semi-political lesbian dance rock, Carol Pope rocking us out with High School Confidential (not wearing bondage gear unfortunately) - and finally - after a wait.. quite a wait.. Peaches hit the stage, rocked with her cock out, and blew us away.
Last night I went to this kind of 'in the know' theatre space and saw this amazingly sexy play called "a Vigil for Macbeth" kind of deconstruction of Macbeth and theatre presentation. The audience was about 10-12 and sitting amidst the action - quite nicely done.
Here we go - Lemonkid confessional and fun fact - as much as it's cool knowing about a lot of things (and part of that is always increasing one's knowledge, growing and moving forward) I really like to be excited by people sharing new things with me. But it's rare to come across a band, a movie, a play, a restaurant or what have you that's really new and cool. But still if you can add value to my life you'll jump greatly in my esteem. That said I did recently get one of the best mixtapes of my life from another SG member.
Right now one of my goals is to deepen my existing friendships (while always meeting new people of course, i am a social butterfly) to be a group of people where we're all helping each other move forward. I know 1001 things, but all I really want to know is 1001 more.
Also I need to get my ass in gear and make more things because if there's a song you want to hear, a book you want to read or a movie you want to see and it doesn't exist - you should make it.

Yes, five-finger nectar is a phrase (and a taste) that begs to be rolled around upon the tongue. That's why I had to share it. My searches so far don't show it as a title for any movie, photo series, game or piece of fiction. Now that it's out in the world, how many weeks do you figure until there are three competing products with the same title?
If you never seen what the bleep do we know, I highly recommend it. I think I'm more than ready to go down the rabbit hole...yep
