Bucky Done Gun

If you know me at all, or if you don't, you know of my obsession with one of the 20th century's greatest minds - R. Buckminster ("Bucky") Fuller.
Fuller was a design science genius who wanted to make universal energy, housing, and food available to the world's entire populations and had the designs to back it up. He came up with synergetics, an entire new kind of geometry, and invented countless brilliant designs including the geodesic dome.
A designer is an emerging synthesis of artist, inventor, mechanic, objective economist and evolutionary strategist. - R. Buckminster Fuller
So the other weekend I took a gander down to Ile Jean Drapeau to visit a massive geodesic dome in Bucky tribute with A., a ridiculously hot environmental designer / femme fatale.
Both of us being ridiculously awesome we fought over who got to be the octopus. Despite her superior martial arts training, through a desperate combination of mind-fu and extensive Fuller understanding I triumphed.
Deep sea divers are pretty sweet though.
Everything you've learned in school as "obvious" becomes less and less obvious as you begin to study the universe. For example, there are no solids in the universe. There's not even a suggestion of a solid. There are no absolute continuums. There are no surfaces. There are no straight lines. - R. Buckminster Fuller

I just read this journal, yeah I know sometimes I'm slow. It was interesting, thanks. I like the pictures too.
