I have one simple question for you guys today. Have you ever met randomly someone you spoke to on the internet? I like meeting new people, but I'm not really into this internet meeting thing many are so obssessed with nowadays. I rather meet new people through friends or simply in the streets or school or whatever. The reason why I'm asking you that is because this actually happened to me yesterday (or should I say the day before yesterday, since it is currently 12:50-ish a.m. in Montreal). So here's my story. I woke up at 3:30 p.m. on that day (because I didn't work on that day) and realized that I totally forgot that I was supposed to meet my friends at 4:30 p.m. in downtown. So, I rushed out of bed, brushed my teeth, got dressed, put on some mascara, put on my flip flops, took my purse, and vlam, here I am walking so fast towards the metro, I thought I couldn't breathe anymore. So, I had to stop walking to smoke a cigarette (I know, it wasn't really clever, but I felt like I was going to explode if I didn't have that one cigarette). Arrived at the metro, I did like usual, which is go down the escalators, slide my pass, walked down the stairs, got in the "train"... I got off at the Lionel-Groulx station, where I had to take the green line(Honore-Beaugrand direction) to get to d-town. I was sitting in the dead train, half-asleep, eyes open but mentally not present, when I felt something living walking towards me in this lifeless place. So, I turned around and saw this 6 foot tall caucasian guy. I felt awkward but didn't want to say anything because my brain was just starting to work again. So, the guy decided to use his voice first by asking me if my name's ...(hahaha, did you really think I was going to reveal it to you? no.) So, I said "yes." It was after a few seconds of blankness that I finally realized that he was a guy I never met in real life, who added me on msn not long ago. Right after I met that guy, I saw this girl, who's some kind of indie celebrity, that I'm not going to name, in the streets of downtown. I don't know why, but small things like that "re-assure" me that life is full of surprises, and they could also be positive and pleasant, and not always bad.
