Wonderfully soggy and thundersome easter here in houston. I plan to make the least of it by brewing up some chai and sprawling out on the sofa for a Knife in the Water / Hiroshima mon amour DVD fest (thank you netflix.)

Other news since last posting:

I have started my apprenticeship at my friend's tattoo shop, after months of discussions, hand-wringings, and semi-false starts. It's pretty humbling to be afforded this opportunity, especially when I hear the horror stories of all the artists here on the boards and at the shop. The schedule is going to be taxing, since I can't afford to quit my day job - but it will be worth the sleep deprivation...
