Old men just shouldn't skate. We should just hang our boards up and reminisce over antiquated H-Street vidoes. Yesterday, I just had to go check out the public skatepark in LaPorte...

Crikey I'm fuckin sore. blackeyed

Fuck'n fuck...

I could write a novel about the trials of buying a house for the first time. But then, are there any good tales of applying for a loan of any kind?

Thought not. File this under disgruntled mortgage applicants...

To summarize, our loan officer fucked up and missed a tiny, infinitesmal (sp?) piece of documentation that just might bring our closing process to...

"Life moves pretty fast. If you don't stop and look around once in awhile, you could miss it."

Tumultuous two weeks since last posting.

We were starting to despair in our house-hunting efforts about 2 weekends ago. I went in to work on the following Monday and (out of routine) checked the listings, found a very cheap duplex on the East End. Made the appointment....

News of late.
Been apprenticing about 8 months. Going good, not tattooing yet but learning alot and honing my drawings.

We're looking for a house in a SERIOUS way. To the point of getting obsessive. Every time we get close, something fucks it up or it gets a contract 10 minutes ahead of us. Very frustrating.

Went as Shaun of the Dead (and Liz) for...

Wonderfully soggy and thundersome easter here in houston. I plan to make the least of it by brewing up some chai and sprawling out on the sofa for a Knife in the Water / Hiroshima mon amour DVD fest (thank you netflix.)

Other news since last posting:

Finally went in for my 1st session to have my half-sleeve done last night. Just posted some pics.

11:32 and the Late Movie is a rerun of an '80's Perry Mason featuring...

yes, Morgan Fairchild.

Personally, I prefer her postmodern, self-deprecating antics in the movie-within-a-movie in Pee-Wee's Big Adventure - opposite equally hirsute 80's legend James Brolin.

Maybe QT will give her a cameo in Kill Bill or whatever is next. Seems obvoius...

yes it is. It is an earthship. It has been made out of finer materials than normal earthships. Like a couple quanzat huts, spray insulation, and better windows, but the principle is the same. They have their own well, solar panels, wind generator and deisel back up generator, completely off the grid. I was gonna say that something might work in H-town, but that p0lace is sucha freakin' anomaly that it prolly wouldn't. good eye tho.
