Christ its been a while. Sorry all for my tardy updates. Ive been away on a press trip. For those that dont know (okay, pretty much everyone) magazines usually do a December and a Christmas issue in the same month. That means right now I am in Hell. Not literally but its hard work right now. Not much to else say but Im going to...

Its a strange week. Taking five days holiday because I havent taken any yet this year and I have to make sure I use it up. So Im sitting at home playing games and watching TV. All plans for a bit of visiting-of-friends, getting out and about etc has been thoroughly buggered by a lack of cash. Free-time isnt all that much fun when youve...

Hello all,

Well its been a good few weeks. Got a pay rise at work which is great. Didnt get the job that was going but I couldnt really care less.

On the downside Ive had a cold which sucks. Especially when you're single and have no one to coo over you and make tea. And I also removed a small part of my thumb,...

Ive spent the last couple of days ensconced in a hideously expensive hotel room in London, for work. The only thing in the space I occupied that wasnt made out of mahogany, marble or silver was me. I think it cost more to clean my finger prints off the door handles than Ill get paid this month.

I had a balcony over the Thames and...

Ooooh, hideously expensive hotel rooms in London love I'm off to London in November, but my hotel room won't be hideously expensive wink

Love and kisses

Sigor Ros new album Takk, is quite possibly the most beautiful noise on Gods Earth. Every time I press play, its like a million forgotten memories rising to the surface of still water. Overwhelming, overcoming; a blanket of emotions that encompasses and cushions your soul. Imagine having your heart cleansed by the tears of angels and you're half way there.

Well what a week its been. I was flown out to Poland for work. It all started out fairly normally; stayed in a hotel , went to the airport, caught a plane. So far so good. Then, in Warsaw, we caught another plane. One made of canvas and wood that wouldnt have looked out of place in an Indiana Jones movie. It was about the...

Poland sounds like a proper adventure, good one

the suspect deal is still 'simmering'.... but I'm not going to take it - they're not prepared enough, unrealistic in their scheduling & expectations of what can be achieved with the time & money they contend they have, plus frankly they're plain not reliable

all the specific detailed info I ask for is never given, they've being saying 'we'll finalise contracts tomorrow' for 6 weeks now. In so many ways they either don't respect me or just don't know what they're doing or actually don't have the production finance in place.

Either way it's a 'walk away' tho I have to admit I've not flat out told them that yet.... it's now a kind of facinating game for me to see how close they get to starting filming before they actually get down to details and the nitty gritty - something they needed to do a long time ago.

The kind & complexity of stuff they want me to shoot, enhance and create needs alot of prep; well in advance, a crew in place and reasonable amount of testing time, not to mention an amount of collaboration & discussion before generating a filming schedule - none of which they have allowed for despite me repeatedly emphasising it

there's always other projects

Tis been a good week. Press party thing last week, trip to Poland next week and this weekend I got jumped by a girl at a club. Snogging in a dark corner like a youth club disco. That hasnt happened for a long time. Well not since parents-away-raiding-the-drinks-cabinet-for-ouzo style parties at school. Id rather have something a little more substantial but thatll keep me smiling...

Hello all, long time no post.

Its been a good week. A few people went away just before deadline so me and the other writer had to finish a lot of stuff by ourselves. Blood hard work but fun. Definitely made up my mind about applying for a promotion thats going.

Other than that, little to report. My mates are trying to set me up...

I think my iPod is alive. Ive run out of new music at the moment so Ive been sticking it on random. The odd thing is it only seems to be playing songs that remind me of my old girlfriend. And, for some unknown reason, the same Roots Manuva song over and over again. Must buy new CDs. Apparently the new Sigor Rs album has...

wow, weird... you live near me AND your hometown is portsmouth, like me.

i'm a final year psychology student.

my dissertation relates to ramachandran's work using mirror boxes on patients with phantom limb pain. one theory is that phantom limb pain is caused by conflicting sensory and motor information. i am using eeg recordings to establish the effect of sensory-motor conflict on normal participants.

hope that made sense smile
