Hey kids, sorry I've been all lame and shit and haven't updated, but really, I have an excuse. I just landed myself in the hospital in NYC this weekend (again) and it took me a while to convince them it was safe for me to leave. They put soooooooooo many chemicals into my body over this one- I'm surprised that that many chemicals can actually make a person feel better. They also transfused me so I now have a NORMAL HEMATOCRIT!!!! Ok, so probably that doesn't mean much to anyone here... so let me put it this way. You know how you feel after having donated a unit of blood? Well, pretend that you donate two units instead- thats what I function on all the time. Good stuff. So, now that I'm getting food down again I feel much better. Unfortunately, this totally fucked up the good time I was planning on having here. But the good news is, while I was in the hospital one of the nursing students there told me about a scholarship for vocational training. A FULL scholarship with NO STRINGS!!! One of the residents gave me a referral to a local specialist who might have a clinical trial or so to enroll me in- which isn't going to happen as long as I'm in Bangor. So, I'm gonna go check out NYU this morning, pick up an application...
