Elevated alert, high alert....ugh.
Wondering if I should actually be concerned about the stuff on the news. I sure as hell can't imagine waking up to another 9/11. I'm still trying to comprehend what happened.
Forgive me for being sheltered ,but I grew up in Australia where you are fairly untouched by this mayhem and mass violence.
Sometimes I wonder if I could just bring all Americans back with me to Australia, where people are friendly, and don't try to kill each other as much as they do here.
Do these alert levels actually do anything other than cause panic and unrest ? If there really are any other attacks planned could we realistically do anything about it?

The terror alert thing is just the government's way of allieviating the proverbial witch hunt that took place after Sept. 11. Ya remember, when the media was all like,"Who is to BLAME for this tradgedy? Why didn't anyone see it COMING?" That sort of nonsense. Anyway, I just sort of randomly came across ur profile and thought I'd toss in my 2 bits. Cheers
