so since i started SG i think i've changed an awful lot and have totally forgotten my love for surfing, rock climbing and my goal to do every extreme sport out there. So this blog is just basically pictures and words telling you all what i really actually like.
For the last 10 yrs ive wanted to become a pro surfer or a surf instructor. Ive even tried to save up 6k to go on a course in south africa after i graduate... basically u can be a total beginner and become an instructor within 3 months. hectic training schedule and to test u on the 1st day u gotta run 200m then swim 200m then run 200m within a certain time i think 8 or 11 mins... (i cood b wrong.. i cant remember). Thing is 6k is ALOT of money and ive decided i cant waste another yr of my life trying to get a qualification that cant get me anymoney to live.. the jobs r only seasonal and so during winter months i'll b poor... i cant do that to joe i am the one thats hopefully getting the degree to get a gd job so we can both move out.
Well another thing was I was going to go to plymouth university to study Surf Science and get a degree outa that. I got in to the university despite my crap grades, got my flat settled but then the last weekend before i was meant to start i decided to actually go there and spend more than 1 day there.. and oh my how racist some ppl can be. ... basically plymouth is the other side of the country... really far from london and its about 7-8 hrs drive from where i am now so it was gna b tuff with joe being home and me studying there which we both dint mind but when i got there i didnt see ne other coloured ppl and i got so much shit from young ppl and old ppl. i coodnt get served in a shop .. i wanted a fuckin bottle of water... ended up getting joe to do it, coodnt get what i wanted at macdonalds... blah it was a shit weekend and made me soo depressed that i decided to stay home where i feel safe and comfortable. then on tv a few weeks after it said that plymouth (devon) is like 99% white and 1% other race. lets just say they haven't caught up with the rest of us yet. I know a white person from where i live and she lives in plymouth now and she gets abuse coz shes not from that area... damn ppl can b mean and stupid!

oh and here is me rockclimbing.. well more bouldering coz i dont use ropes.
