I'm gonna pause my little tirade against Donald Fuckbucket for a little while to give you a little update and a glorified SGH Showcase.
You know how a couple updates ago I told you all about my daughter being basically kicked out of school because of her "difficulties"? Yeah, so she got the diagnosis, as did her sister. Both on the spectrum. However, they believe that Lily (The daughter who got kicked out of school) might also have ADHD, which is both a good and bad thing, because I now feel she may get the help that she so sorely needs. Please understand this: I am not ashamed of either of my daughters, I am more ashamed of the fact that I didn't know how to deal with two children who have autism, it's a learning process that some parents have to go through and I hope that I continue to learn. I'm 42 years of age and thought I knew the world, turns out I know jack shit.
Before I get too maudlin, I want to also mention that, a couple nights ago, I watched two of the best horror movies I have seen in a long time (And no, I do not mean Terrifier 3, although I do still want to watch that.)
1: Time Cut - Holy shit, what a clever movie. Billed as a slasher movie that meets BTTF, it is actually a very thought provoking movie that makes us question what we would actually do if gifted a time machine. Sometimes, the past shouldn't be changed, no matter how upsetting that is.
2: Mr. Harrigan's Phone - Now, it is fact that I am a Stephen King fan, but OMG this movie is one of my favourites and that's saying a lot. Jaeden Martell established himself as a favourite actor of mine when he starred as Bill Denbrough in IT 2017 (I believe he was 13 at the time.) and he almost made me question my loyalty to the late Jonathan Brandis, who played Bill in 1990. At 21 he is a tour de force and at some points in this movie, he put the late great Donald Sutherland, off the screen.
Donald Sutherland, who plays the titular Mr. Harrigan, in one of his final roles (Possibly his final role, actually), proves to everyone why he is so highly regarded. He plays both menacing and kindly with a skill that only he can provide. You understand why some people didn’t like him, as he is quite the ruthless character, but you cannot help yourself from feeling he is very much a protagonist by the end of this movie. I would recommend it to all.
I made a new friend and her name is @dicentra . Jeez, what a lovely person she is and if you ever want to have a peek into the mind of a person wise beyond her years, then I would recommend following her, like, yesterday. Once again, I felt like I knew the world, but I felt intimidated by her wisdom. A very intelligent young woman, is that lady.
Now we get to the Italian Job, and the sauce (I mean sauce as in, saucy, not bolognese.) So, today I discovered the rather lovely @missacidula and my goodness, if anyone deserves to be pink, it is her. I posted a comment on her newest photoset proclaiming just how pretty she is, but looking at that photoset again while writing this status, I realised how wrong I was. She is not pretty at all, in fact, she’s beautiful. In photo 29, she peers into your eyes and there is also something so beautiful about her smile. It’s almost mischievous in nature and you get the feeling that she’d be the first to jump into a pool naked, and if she asked you to do it too, you would. This young lady is what a SuicideGirl should look like.
But wait, there is a plot twist, I also, rather belatedly discovered a young woman by the name of @solostella and her debut set, from July. Nobody should associate High School Musical with something so sexy, but here we are. I thought I had a crush on Sharpay and Kelsi, but then Stella walked in and I realised that sometimes, the main cast is not where you should be looking. If Stella is a Wildcat for life, then guess what, so am I. Photo 1 shows a woman that not only knows her sexuality, but is in full fucking command of it. Photo 41, which I believe is her favourite image from the photoset, is seduction personified. If Aphrodite decided to take human form, this is what she would look like.
Now, here's for the visual proof:
The aforementioned #29 is the middle one, btw, see what I mean?
Now, onto Stella...
Both truly beautiful women, in my honest opinion, go give them some love.
