@freyafakhov artwork! I have to say, I love this photoset, it evokes everything about summer. You have a gorgeous woman frolicking in a lake for Chrissakes, what more could you possibly want? I am pretty certain that she never wanted summer's end when she was shooting this shot, but sadly, Foo Fighters never recorded a song wishing for summer to continue. Rather, they prayed for summer's end, miserable ass band! (I kid, they're not miserable at all.) So here we go, presenting FFxSG 2025: Summer's End. This song is taken from their 2007 album, Echoes, Silence, Patience and Grace, which was a very personal album for me, you may find out why later. @lenacristina artwork! Not too bad considering that she only posted her set about 11 hours ago. Don't let 'em tell you Ol' Leigh ain't quick (In more ways than one, according to my ex-wife, but hey.) Honestly though, this young lady's set is amazing, like, really beautiful. I love the colors, I love the setting, everything about it. Quite apt that it is called The Golden Girl, really. I knew that I was going to have to use it for Concrete and Gold, the second image in my FFxSG 25 pieces. Val Kilmer

I have refrained from posting anything about Val Kilmer, because the truth is, I have not kept tabs on him for many years. Still, today was a fucking sad loss, whichever way you look at it. My favourite film from him had always been Willow, where he starred as Madmartigan. Until I saw Oliver Stones' The Doors. Having become a very big fan of The Doors and by proxy, Jim Morrison, in the early 2000s, I finally watched this movie in around 2009/2010 and was blown away by how Val essentially became Jim. Jim hasn't been with us since 1971, and now Val is no longer with us, which is heartbreaking. Break on through, Val, and become the rider on the storm that you always, in life, were. RIP

I was sad to see him go.  His first movie was one of my favourites of all time "Top Secret."  And the movie "Ghost and the Darkness" is a must see for any person out there.  He was part of some amazing works and he is missed.
