So when I was at the concert last week I brought two cameras. A film camera which I had set on a tripod and my digital that was around my neck.
Well the " event photographer" came up to me after the show to ask me why I was shooting film. He didnt think I would get anything. Well I have something to say to him. My black and white prints surpassed my digital ones by light years. He should have a little more faith in film because if you get something its always far more beautiful then digital.
I devoloped some of my film yesterday. It turned out pretty great. ( except for the dust spots.)
The darkroom at my school has a lot of dust in it and gets dust on my negatives. Girrrr.
I want to try and drive myself crazy, so my next set I want to do in scanned black and white prints. It will take a long time but the wowness effect might be worth it.

If you're making prints to be scanned, test a few first. The scanner won't render the contrast the same, so you will need to adjust for it in the print stage if you want the final scans to look as good.
Hope it works out though. It would be awesome.
