30 days today until I'm in the US. All being well, I'll be there in 713 hours.
The first 3 days will be reasonably easy, being a tourist in NY, but then Mrs. Lego and I are flying "home" to Raleigh and from there I know in broad terms what I need to do, but very little in specifics. This is quite cool, because it means I'm free to just "have at it", but I'm quite concerned that I could either waste my time with no particular schedule or become quite bored and disillusioned with the whole thing.
I expect it won't be massively different to this weekend, really-- lots of constructive things to do, but most of them getting pushed to the side in favour of socialising and watching copious films on TV. I guess I'll need to be methodical and structured about the whole thing and try to achieve one constructive goal every day. Very unlike me. It will either fall on its face or do me a lot of good. I suppose we'll soon see.
