some people just need to pull the stick outta their ass, and realize that making someone feel bad is not going to make things work better for them.....
this guy calls up the store today, complaining that the direcTV system that he got from us had a defective reciever. he said that he had bought the system from us in the last year. we have the ability to search every recipt for the entire country for the last five years.
im led to believe that his wife got the system somewhere else, and he got confused, because as i told him 50 friggin times, THERE WAS NO RECORD OF HIS PURCHASE.
he started getting pissed because he insisted that he bought it from us. if he had bought it from us IT WOULD HAVE BEEN ON FILE cause you CANT sell direct tv without a name and address. he also couldnt stand the fact that he would have to wait 3 to 5 whole days (god forbid he have to miss AS THE F'IN WORLD TURNS!!) to get a new reciever. He started to get pissed at me cause i couldnt find his recipt, and i should be able to replace his $129 dollar reciever that he dosent have a receipt for and i cant find for... i guess his word that he bought it from us was supposed to be good enough.
i coulda delt with it alright, except that he said he was gonna come down to the store to solve this. he sounded like he was gonna come down and kick my ass, and he talked like the kind of trailor trash that would do something like that. comming down there wouldnt have solved anything unless he had found a receipt. and did i mention that he was gonna have to get his replacement through rca regardless, because it was after 30 days, and at that point all warranty claims MUST go through rca? god he was a dick. what kind of idiot would rather pay 129 dollars for a new reciever, than wait 3 to 5 days for a free one? i even told him he could go somewhere else and get one without an access card (he didnt need one to begin with) for like 30 bucks. i nearly got an ulcer from that fiasco.....

I worked in a Quik Trip for a while, which for all of you who don't know a Quik Trip is a very high class version of 7-eolven that sells gas, and I have some stories that will blow yours away, don't let these people bother you because there is always a bigger asshole right around the corner
