yesterday was the 2004 san francisco gay/lesbian/bisexual/trans/intersexed pride festival. although some hints have been dropped here and there, most of you don't know our whole story, so here it is.
my husband is no ordinary male. he is intersexed. his body produces a little bit more estrogen than usual and doesn't react that well to testosterone. we're not sure if it's genetic or chemical... but we know that his anatomy is both male and female (without the use of surgery or hormones) and his personality is most definitely female. yesterday marked his coming out and is the first of many steps towards transitioning from male to female. so from now on, hubby is Giselle, i'm considered a lesbian, and a legally married one too.. how about that!
now on to the pictures....
