People ask well then how many generations will it take before blacks stop using the after effects of segregation as an excuse for being poor? I think if we keep voting people like Bush into office then probably never. It's interesting to note that according to MSNBC exit polls, 88% of blacks voted for Kerry and in 2000 90% voted for Gore.
So I don't view giving blacks a fair chance at a job after years of not giving them an "equal opportunity" as rascism.
I really like that pic by the way.
Even though it's debatable as to whether or not affirmative action or welfare programs are fair for everyone, I think the government isn't doing nearly enough to improve the black poverty problem.
