ok SO ive decided to make a very picture heavy blog, everyone likes pictures! and as i type this i realise i have a bunch of pictures on a memory card i need to get off before i continue ... hold on a sec

ok im back!
so yeah, i turned the ripe old age of 26 on Monday
depressing times i know, only 4 more years till the dreaded 'three-oh'. but i definitely sent 25 off with style, but more on the party later, whats the most important thing about a birthday? PRESENTS! 
i got a fairly decent haul this year, usual stuff from my nan ($20 and a scratchie) my sister is still living in london, but she promises her gift is 'in the post' anyway, on to the other stuff!
from the parents, i got a Sanyo Xacti HD camcorder -
Very pretty! havent had a chance to use it properly yet, but im enjoying the docking station it comes with (simple things ...
)
the definite star of my birthday this year was my lovely girlfriend, who got me an amazing array of goodies ....

Transformers underwear! (i had to search through some disturbing google-imagery to find this pic, so appreciate it! but that wasnt the end of the transformers goodness, oh no ...
OPTIMUS PRIME!!!! ... nuff said really, but to end the run of transformers goodies, she got tickets to go see the new movie tonight, at directors suite, where you get full bar service and comfy recliners
but thats not all!
i also gots a Sid from ice age PEZ dispenser -
is probably a little known fact that i collect PEZ dispensers, at last count i had about 600..ish, and sid was the last one i needed to complete the ice age set
and last ... but certainly not least ...
an LG 23" widescreen HD monitor!!!

So i do a lot of graphic design work for some nightclubs around town, and i said to one of them, if they give me their top floor for a few hours for a party, id do all the design for the upcoming 'ladies night' for free, so i had quite a shindig on saturday night! much of the night was a blur, but my camera was out for a bit ...
(bare in mind i just grabbed these from my camera a second ago, so i havent had a chance to pretty them up yet)
Ok, so the night was supposed to start with pre-drinks at my local, but nobody turned up
except for the two guys i came with, my best buds, shanan and tony (these dudes are the guys i run Inner Coma with . they played pool, im craptacular at pool, so i took some photos instead ...

at this point we packed up and went to the party, i handed my camera over to my friend Kirsten, because i didnt want to be stuck taking photos all night at my own party
My mate Matty arrives! he was once Zybisko, but im pretty sure he expired in the long, long ago
It was 'ladies night' downstairs, all the girls got gift bags, flowers and there was an all-female DJ lineup

The girl in Purple is Rhea, it was her birthday too, she is the GF of shanan for those paying attention, and the girl in the orange/red (not sure what colour that is) is Kirsten, she has been your photographer on this party journey.

So thats it for my party! it was a great night, there are many blank spots, i remember smoking in the smokers lounge for awhile (i dont smoke ... ever), telling two friends they would be best man at my wedding ... hopefully at least one of them has forgotten! and taking the taxi home Through mcdonalds drive through, ordering out of the back window

things have been great otherwise, the photography/design stuff is slowly gaining speed, and next weekend the lady and i are heading up to the gold coast for 4 days to celebrate our 1 year anniversary
oh and just a heads up, im just putting the finishing touches on a set im photoshopping for Caprica, head on over to her blog for a preview (its pretty darn awesome
)
