What do you name an album that was created from the fallout of a several year relationship in which your girlfriend suffered a psychotic breakdown, lost her grip on reality, met a homeless guy, and was engaged to marry him behind your back? You might try 'Die, Bitch', which is the debut album from Leave Me As You Found Me. When singer/songwriter Dremaceo Giles discovered that his girlfriend of four years was secretly engaged to a homeless man, he turned to music as an outlet and the result is the 13 track gothic-laced, rock industrial smash up 'Die, Bitch'. Described as the electronic musings of Shiny Toy Guns on steroids or The Killers as played by Korn, Leave Me As You Found Me infuses dark, melancholy electronica with sharp derisive lyrics and haunting, sometimes jolting post-hardcore vocals. Dremaceo credits the album as being a constructive conduit for his rage, and admits that it kept him from doing 'something stupid'. He hopes the album can be a testament to others that no matter what you're going through, you don't have to be self-destructive; you can make it through.
'Die, Bitch' is slated for a July 2008 self-release. For more information on Leave Me As You Found Me, visit www.leavemeasyoufoundme.com.
