another day that i can check my SG profile. have the web nazi's put down there guard? this is almost too good be to true.
so, check it.....i was on purevolume.com today, and discovered anit-folk singer regina spektor from NYC. i highly recommend her. her voice is a nice change from all of the aggressive male singers i have been listening too.
it's a nice day here in afghanistani. i should be outside instead of in front of the computer. too bad they didn't have wireless internet, then i could go outside. i think they have a place down the street that has the wireless hook up. but, outside of my camp is scary because we have 82nd cats roaming around trying to regulate with their rules and ridiculous ideas. i'm safe where i am where i don't have to carry my weapon, salute, or wear head gear. i walk around with my hands in my pockets and with my collar up over here......like a rebel....
i only have a couple of months here in afghanistani.....here's a "to do" list for when i arrive back in the states....
*find apartment
*find things to put in my apartment
*buy new vehicle (jeep wrangler? nissan xterra?)
*eat at the following places....the waffle house, tripps, cold stone creamery, rudinos, mc donalds, etc...)
*start new tattoo on right arm (check out brandi milne's piece titled "the unbirthday")
*find a puppy
*sit on the poolside for hours drinking sweet tea and listening to good music
*go to PA to the lineage gallery to check out audrey kawasaki show in july.
*go home in september- stop at a gallery in NYC for the jeff soto show
*invite my sister to my apartment for a week
that's it for now. i have recently discovered my undying love for lists. it's always a good time to make a list.
one more thing before i sign off (the carpel tunnel is starting to kick in), i am in the process of enrolling in college as a part student (full time soldier, part time student.....life is going to be very busy soon), and my paperwork is almost finished. i feel so good about it. since i'm in the military, i will get most of it paid for. that's sexiness....
alright, kids, thanks for reading......or not reading......who know who's actually reading this.....
kisses, leannie
