i'm writing a quick little blog before i have to enter the cold afghani weather to walk to the chapel for the women's forum. i don't really want to go, but i am because the woman in charge changed the forum from it's usual thursday's to monday's now to accomidate for the ladies who are taking classes. i'm one of the ladies she changed it for, so the least i can so is attend to show my appreciation.
i am glad to say that the sun has finally come back out from hiding. last week it just disappeared and i was terribly afraid that winter has finally set in. but, much to my surprise, and excitement, it has returned. when it's not shining down on us, it is quite chilly and damp. the only good thing about the cold is being bundled up. the army has finally come to its senses and purchased nice winter wear for us. when i'm bundled up, i almost feel like i'm walking around with someone huging me. it's a good feeling.
