i am ok. i think i am just really worried about my dad. he is in kuwait with the 3rd infantry division, the division that will travel into bagdad when we invade. i woke up at 5am confused, and found a bunch of people online saying horrible things about rachel corrie, a peace activist who was murdered on the gaza strip. i'm thinking, holy shit, dying for your beliefs isn't even enough, and holy shit, it never has been. it sort of magnifies the idea that i am a helpless little animal. so i slept for 14 hours, dreamlessly, and now i'm awake and confused.

i'm going to be ok tho, i'm just going to try and be present and do what i can. and send my dad a letter.
