Well I'm here to ask a question. Are men falling so far away from being gentlemen that women can no longer notice when you are being one. I went on two dates with a young lady. Knowing that I am no longer looking for just hooking up I like to believe I am looking for a lady. Both dates were at my house on the first date she came over just to relax drink some wine and get to know each other. When I took her home I gave her a hug and wished her a good night. I did not try anything because that is very important but I'm looking for more. Know the next time she come's over I picked her up and cooked her dinner. After dinner we sat on the couch and had a good conversation. After I took her home and before I could give her a hug goodnight she turns from me and runs in her home. Being confused trying to figure what I did wrong I went home and fell asleep. When I woke up the next morning I had a text waiting for me. The text was from this young lady telling me thanks for wasting my time and how I should lose her number. When I asked her what was the problem she stated that because I never made a move she assumed I wasn't interested and was pissed off. So all of you out there know the reason I never made a move was because I was trying to be respectful and show I wasn't just trying to get in her panties!

That's kind of dumb, I mean you did ask her out again didn't you? She shouldn't be so insecure and assume you weren't interested just because you weren't all over her.

Sorry It took me so long to get back the Navy has me busy as ever. I agree with both of you I really don't understand a lot of our young women these days. I'm happy to hear from both of you gives me hope for the future.
