In 'The Walrus and the Carpenter', why didn't the eldest Oyster warn the young Oysters of the Walrus and the Carpenter's intentions towards them as the young Oysters hurried up to walk with Those Two (in spite of the fact that they hadn't any feet)? I mean, the eldest Oyster winked his eye at Those Two, so he must have had an idea that the fat youngsters were headed towards being devoured. Those poor young naive Oysters.
