I saw 'Million Dollar Baby' yesterday. I can't really remember the last bad movie I saw, I've been on such a string of good ones. You can certainly tell that it's Oscar time. I know, 'I Heart Huckabees', that was the last one I didn't care for. Pretentious for the sake of being pretentious. I think it would have been better if I was still in my 20s.
As for 'Million Dollar Baby', that was a truly Great film. I felt the same way after that one as I did when I first saw 'The English Patient': emotionally exhausted. Had to have a nap when I got home.
'I met a girl who sang the blues
and I asked her for some happy news.
She just smiled and turned away.'

I just saw In Good Company with Topher Grace and Dennis Quaid . . . good movie. Would have been better if I hadn't had drinks beforehand. I kept trying to pass out.
I've totally been wanting Jenna's autobiography. That book looks GREAT.
