Today was a bit of disaster, then it got much better.
I took the trailer full of junk (mostly old fence board, actually) out to the Landfill, and while I was there, the guy next to me mentioned that one of the tires on the trailer (it's my dad's trailer) looked a little flat. And flat it was. As flat as a flat tire can be. Flat flat flat. Luckily, my mom had suggested that I bring the spare tire with me (good ole mom, always thinking ahead). However, I never ever want to have to change a tire on a trailer at the dump again. Never never never. It's a pain to get to the axel to put the jack, and I ended up having to sit on the ground. At the DUMP. And that smell, oh my, the smell ot that place. It took no less than an hour to get that done. The smell, the smell.
But then Colette79 and I went back out to the corn maze this evening in order to pet the goats and the rabbits and the pigs and the ponies (but not the llamas: they spit), and do the maze again and then go through the Haunted Forest. That forest thing was friggin' cool. The evening made up for the whole day. And we won prizes.
And I arrived home and had an extraordinary craving for popcorn. So I made some and I ate it all, except for some of the unpopped kernels.
