At long last, a two week vacation. Homecare for the Oz means that I can't go anywhere for more than one night, but I'm content with having absolutely nothing to do for the next two weeks. TV, movies, reading, bike riding and lots and lots of sun.

What a nice long entry tonight. You always say such interesting things. Trevor is going insane w/ this World Cup business, he's such a football fan. Blergh. I could care less, really. I hate sports. I guess I'm pretty glad that Edmonton kicked Carolina's ass tonight, but I only care because they're a Canadian team.
I'm a crossword puzzle girl. I haven't tried Sudoku and I probably won't. When Trev came out to TO last weekend to surprise me at the end of our tour, we spent part of our Saturday together doing the crossword in the Globe & Mail, outdoors in the park. It was fun.

I feel better about the kitty today, I can think about her w/o crying. I'm watching Barney right now, and he's so cute that it cheers me up a bit. 
Just to make this week even better, today my grandmother passed away, and I'm not sure how to feel about that. She was not a very "grandmotherly" woman, and we were not close at all. She'd been sick for some time now, and so her death was not unexpected. I feel bad that I don't feel worse about it personally. If anything, I feel worse for my grandfather, my dad and his sisters.
