First of all I have to say a giant thank you to all the lovely people who have taken the time to view/comment on my latest set in member review. "Out of the Blue" was shot at a very important turning point in my life. I am beyond happy to be able to share that moment with some of the most amazing people I've met on here over the past few years. I love you guys. You da best homies. ^.^

Moving on to @bloghomework . I chose the blog topic of:
2/13: What Are Your Top 5 Songs of All Time? Songs you could listen to over and over again.
1. Led Zeppelin - "In My Time of Dying"
Zeppelin was a huge part of my childhood and upbringing. This song specifically is off one of my all time favorite albums ever. Being that this album was during their 70's prime, it really makes me feel like I am obviously a total psychedelic hippie at heart. I could dance around all day to these heavy lyrics about the mystery of death and the simple human hopes when faced with it. It's fucking lovely!
2. Led Zeppelin - "The Rain Song"
Okay, I like Zeppelin a lot...
Between their timeless meaningful lyrics, groovy stage presence, jazz/blues influences, and raw talent I can't help but list more than one song of theirs on this list. "The Rain Song" has been one of those Zeppelin songs I've really fell in love with as I have aged. It's a simple beautiful song, that calms my mind and soul every time I put it on. Repeat forever and I might fall into a trippy land of never ending bliss. Woah.
Moving on to another classic favorite of mine...
3. All covers of or the original song "Nature Boy"
Nat King Cole's Version
Or the lovely cover (that I of course adore) by Lady Gaga and Tony Bennet.
"Nature Boy" is a song I hold extremely close to my heart. A classic that both my father and grandpa (Aka Poppy) would sing to me as a child. The beauty of the italian side of my family was always brought out by amazing memories at the table with good food, good laughs, good people, and really good music. A family full of singers would echo these lyrics into my heart; "The greatest thing you'll ever learn, is just to love and be loved in return." And these are words I live by. A lifestyle I hope to live forever. Loving all and receiving lots of love in return.
4. Lady Gaga - "Venus"
This fun pop song is from Lady Gaga's most recent solo album. I may be the most giant metal head, but you should know by now I have quite an eccentric and or eclectic taste in music. I'm a sucker for Gaga and always will be. She is my spirit animal (along with Zoey Deschanel and Andy Milonakis). Our attitudes about life and art are extremely similar which gives me an incredible connection to her powerful and playful music. Venus is a song that describes my hearts desires and makes my dancing legs go crazy. It is passionate and dramatic while still being chic. And uh hello Venus? Aphrodite? I'm always down for some sexy Greek and Roman goddesses. ^.^
5. Ariel The Little Mermaid - "Part of Your World"
And of course naturally being that this is probably the only movie I watched from the age of 3 to 6...
I would have to list this on here. I sing it at least once a day in the shower so I'm almost certain it wouldn't be a bother to listen to on repeat. I will forever be a mermaid and Ariel's underwater troubles in this moment of the story touch close to home when thinking of my naive high school days.
She's such a damn cutie!
Goddesses. Mermaids. Hippies. Princesses. Sirens. Who do I think I am?
All of them.
Talk to you soon. <3
Love,
