Before I begin this weeks blog topic I'm just going to update you on my life real quick!
I'm coming to the end of my spring school semester and it can't come soon enough! I am absolutely EXHAUSTED. School Tuesday and Thursday in NY. Days that begin at 4am and end at 8pm. Shoots or studying on the Wednesdays in between then work Friday through Monday back in PA. In the limited free time I have I try to keep up with all my social networks and my recent hobbies of jewelry/accessory making and parkour training. Anywway as you can imagine my body is shot. I cannot wait to take a break next month at my babe @zephi 's house. It's been far too long since we've since each other and I miss her terribly. P.S. Congratulate her on recently going pink! :) It's about time and I'm so stoked she did.
In other news, I was featured on the SG instagram yesterday with a photo from my most recent set "Compulsion" which is super exciting! I had so many people commenting about my small figure and dancer like legs, happy that I'm representing a different kind of beauty. Granted I do wish I was curvy. However, this is the body I was given and I can't change that, so as I've always said it's my mission to tell the world, "Hey I'm beautiful just the way I am and you can be too." I still have my fingers crossed that they might buy "Compulsion" we shall see. If not I do plan on shooting another SG set within the next two months with either Corwin again or another Staff photographer.
Well there's much more to be said, but I'm going to move on now to this weeks blog topic before I bore you. :P
Where is my favorite place I've traveled to? I'm almost unsure.
Theres still so many places that I haven't gotten to yet that I would probably favor if I would've gotten to them. But I guess if I had to choose out of the places I've been so far I would have to say Virginia. I went last year around this time with a bunch of my traceur buddies. We hit Washington for whats called a Jam (Beast Coast) but the last two days we spent in Virginia at this absolutely breathtaking natural park called Great Falls.
I fell in love and my entire stay there I felt like I was literally in heaven or some sort of magical dream. It sounds so silly and exaggerated, but it was true. I love the outdoors, especially forests, but sometimes I'm actually picky with what nature I favor. In this case this area of Virginia was ideal. Vibrant trees of colors ranging from green to burgandy to bright firey orange. A big rock cliffed opening of flowing water from massive and mini waterfalls. The air felt perfectly crisp and slightly moist in the most refreshing way. And what made it even better was being there with some of my closest friends. We spent the day jumping on and exploring the rocks, admiring the water, and walking the lovely paths throughout the park.
Now this summer I'm headed to three parts of Canada, last stop being to visit @stormyent So I'm hoping my favorite place changes. I've been wanting to go to Canada for a while and feel it's perfectly suiting for my personality. Now if only it was warm there all year round. I would not be able to deal with the winter. :P
I hope you guys don't mind my instagram being linked to SG now. I kinda like it because it keeps you guys updated with what I'm doing during the week while I don't have time to get on to SG to blog.
Also, to the winners of my photo contest I'm sending out your photos today! And thank you to anyone who has checked out my shop and made some purchases! Those items are going out today as well! Which means I must go now because I have to get those items ready and to the post office after I finish my homework and before I go to work.
This busy lady is off!
Adios!
