One night I had dream that I was some where in up-state New York.
Bob Dylan was cooking me breakfast in the kitchen on the main floor of his house. His wife was sleeping and his son Jacob (who has the best eyes) was out for the morning. I was wearing a white robe and Bob Dylan's robe was white with little yellow designs on it (he was also wearing slippers because the floor was cold).
As he was making us scrableled eggs and toast he told me a story about one of the most difficult albums he wrote. The album was about the break-up of his first marriage. He said that the break-up was so sad and yet wonderful because he had all of these feelings that translated in to a wonderful piece of work.
I told him that I didn't think I had any songwriting talent left in me. As soon as I said that he turned and looked at me in this strange was and said, "Don't worry the words will come".
Thanks for the Words of Wizdom Bob.
