So today I went to the hospital, to talk about further treatment. Apparently, my trombos are 36 now, instead of 32 last week. However, for the study they told me about, my trombos need to be under 30... But healthy values are between 150 and 400. So there's nothing they can do, since the prednisone doesn't work and they don't want to put me through another round of that crap, since it only works temporarily for me.

So now we wait... Until my values go up or sink below 30. For now it's checking blood every 2 weeks, till April 27 when I have my next appointment. I'm so sick of this, I wish there was something they can do. I can still go for the spleen removal option right now, but I'd rather wait. Even though I can properly live without it, there's a high risk factor for infections and it's already high because I've been on the prednisone for 6 months. I'd rather not have a serious infection on top of all this!
