Hey love birds 🐦
Summer in the Boreal Emisphere will be officially over in five days - are you ready?
Even if I can't wait for Halloween, Christmas holidays and snowboard season to come, I'm always a bit sad when September ends.
You've probably read it already on everybody's posts and blogs, plus you've probably thought it yourself: summer 2020 has been one of the oddest ever.
I had a lot of fun and did amazing things - not sure if they were actually amazing or if they felt amazing as I was coming from months of being locked up in my place. After all, it doesn't matter.
Working from home everyday with no distractions from the end of February to June has been incredibly trying and stressful, so you can imagine my happiness when I was finally able to enjoying my holidays in August.
As suggested by our government, I gave up my plans to travel abroad (see your next year, Greece!) and decided to stay in Italy and explore Abruzzo, a small region in the South.
Abruzzo is an harsh, wild land where the bleak mountains dive directly into the sea. Not a fashionable spot like Salento coast, Sicily, Sardinia: no high-end clubs or nightlife here, just thousands of millions of stars above my head; no elegant people showing off their wealth, just shepherds.
I spent days forgetting to wear any makeup and I barely brushed my hair after the shower. I enjoyed the salt and the sun on my naked skin, treating myself with great food and getting tipsy on amazing wines.
I can say I recharged my batteries by being in the wild. That's how I love to live, genuinely and fiercely, ripping life like it's meat from the bone - and talking about meat, I had the most tasty grilled lamb! Being far from "the movida" helped in respecting social distancing and Covid related guidelines.
Situation here in Italy had worsen a bit due to the end of the lockdown and people going around and traveling abroad, but everything is still under control and it's definitely too early to forecast what autumn will bring.
I'd like to be able to go back to dancing in my club, traveling, planning longer modeling trips and finally visit LA as I was supposed to be this year. I'm keeping my fingers crossed and I'm still taking all this as a chance to learn how to live in a more sustainable way, to learn more about myself and my country too (like discovering beautiful Abruzzo!).
One of my best friends has returned to live in our hometown after years of working abroad/afar and I couldn't be happier!
We have spent the last three months sunbathing at the river, roaming around, drinking and partying like teenagers - I loved it, it took me back to the summer when I was 20 and I got a lil' emotional reminding all the crazy adventures I lived back in those days.
I've started to see again people I used to hang out with times ago and of whom I lost sigh with apparently no reason: we're all grown up now but I still like 'em how I used to!
Last week I had my very first experience with rock climbing, actually I went on a "via ferrata" (don't know how to call this in english!) with my dad and my brother, who are both two very experienced climbers. I was scared as hell but I also like it a lot! I'm thinking about asking 'em to teach me.
Generally speaking, mountains have take a huge place in my heart and mind this summer.
How went your summer? Did you have the chance to enjoy some days off? ☀️
On different news, I'm sloooowly getting back to modeling and shooting contents.
Earlier in June I shot a very intriguing SuicideGirls, behind the camera there was the incredibly @fishball, who's definitely an all-around artist! As soon as the set will be queued, I'm gonna post some previews.
Hot stuff is comin' your way 🔥 "Kiss Me Hard Before You Go", my second multi with my beautiful lil' sis' @lilyt will be hitting member review in a month! We had the time of our lives shooting this and I think you're going to like it as well!
But please, let's not forget about Gold reflections shot by my talented friend @mel_z (if you're following her on IG you know she's now living a very special time in her life 😍 she deserves our best wishes!), which is still in member review but it belongs to the front page - help us! Spread the love and keep commenting!
Anddddd if you liked the first image in this blog post, it comes from a beautiful set I've posted last month on my Onlyfans - you can enjoy it plus a ton of old and new content for less than 10 bucks: onlyfans.com/brokendollhatesyou
