Hi folks!
As usual, I'm lacking updates on here but this time I'll try to make you forgive me with this post: June has been insanely intense and full of adventures, feelings, places, people. Gosh, every month should be that good!
The months started out with a job interview for a place as a digital project manager in a bigger agency pretty famous here. From the conversation I had with the CEO, I thought I could have been the right person for them as they were looking for someone doing exactly what I'm doing at the moment.
We talked for about half and hour and he went through my CV in such an enthusiastic way I started to think in the back of my mind that the job would have been mine because well... I was their woman!
At one point he brought up the fact I lived far from their headquarter, something like it would have taken me one hour to go and another one to come from work and they were looking for someone willing to stay. What about having to drive that much every day of the next - who knows - twenty years? I told him it would be no problem for me and I was ready to do that as I considered working there an important goal in my career.
I got home not really concerned about the distance issue as my skills and experience had been appreciated. I'm the kind of person that just can't stop to daydream when something seems to go in the right direction so here I went thinking about how cool would be working in there.
As promised, in ten days I got my reply back. "We're sorry but another profile has been chosen": at first my heart broke a bit when reading this. I spent the evening and the following days overthinking about the interview and asking myself if I did something wrong. You know? I just didn't and - to be honest - I can't remember a better job interview in my whole life! Probably they considered I was living too far, maybe they found out someone more skilled. I will never know.
However, this motivated me a lot: no matter if I didn't get the position, my CV was relevant for them anyway! I'm not doing wrong with my studies and job, after all. I'm actively seeking a better position, I hope to be able to give you good news before the summer ends *crossed fingers*
Later in June, I attended my very first SuicideGirls shootfest! I went in Paris for three days and I had the chance to meet so many beautiful people, inside and outside!
First and foremost, we all have to thank amazing @gladyce for the great job she did with her perfect organization: she made everything possible, and even more by making us feel like at home ♥
I met in a sun-melted Milano with other babes as @fishball, @minuminula, @janesinner, @rosaliejade and @reptyle, we flied to Paris and then left by taxi the center of Paris, heading to the green and quiet countryside on the Seine river.
The mansion was white and beautiful, with a garden where our Italian friend @r_girardi, @brisen and @lilyt were waiting for us with all the other people sunbathing and already socializing, chatting and laughing, welcoming us with big smiles on their faces and something fresh to drink. I felt butterflies in my belly, I was soo excited to be finally there!
First thing I did was going with @judde to pick up the English company at the train: after four hours on the run, @tripodski, @rouge and @killpop finally arrived. We went all together to the supermarket in order to buy something to eat and few hectoliters of beer and wine for the night 😎
The following days have been full of laughters, boobies, messed-up rooms, shared joints, lots of girls talk, glasses of wine and good vibes. It was so much fun! It reminded me a school trip but - with everyone 18+ - definitely hotter!
Here a pic of me with @janesinner, @fishball and @minuminula making plans for the night:
Me with beautiful babes @killpop and @chicory.
All the girls were so outgoing and down-to-earth and making new friends was ridiculously easy: I found myself talking about pretty much anything with everyone until late, sharing our experiences and exchanging opinions.
It's always amazing to find out that people living so far can really relate on the same things I relate on, can share the same point of view and actually know how I feel - it's like having sisters all around the world! ♥
Here with @brisen, @fishball, @valkyria, @rosaliejade, @lilyt and @minuminula:
Drinking was one of the favorite activities of the shoot-fest! Actually, I won't ever forget what someone said, something like "you Italian girls are so fanny, you lookin' for something to drink at any hour of the day"! Oh well AHAHAH
#partyhard
By the way, I had the pleasure to shoot contents with some of my all time favorite photographers such as @chinaski, @jupiter, @shaine and @tripodski.
I did great with all of them and I truly hope to meet them again in the future since working with them once just made my brain poops fancy ideas and concept for future shootings.
I think you won't be disappointed with what is coming your way, I'll just have to be very patient EHEH
Unfortunately, good things come to an end and I had to come back in Italy. Luckily, I had the chance to share the car to the airport with @avrora, who's not only a megababe but also a great driver! This cutie helped me out saving me from the fucked-up trains system and I'm still thankful.
From time to time, I still have post-shootfest blues as I miss those days with all my heart! It's been a great experience and I hope to do it again soon.
Once back in Milano, my dude picked me up at the airport and brought me to see Radiohead gig at I-Days Festival in Monza, YUUUUUUUUH!
I've never seen Thom Yorke and the band live before and I was a bit worried since I'm used to an harder kind of music but hey, I had to change my mind: the gig was great, thrilling and touching at the same time. An incredibile show which made me end that incredible week in the best possible way.
At home, I tried to go back to my regular routine: going to work, taking care of the house, going to pole classes and practicing, some modeling gigs in the weekend - I wasn't expecting anything different from what I'm used to.
But the fate had something set aside for me... like, two tiny fluffy things:
Meet Ecate and Cassia, two baby kittens we rescued and we're trying to rise. They're soo small and cuuute! ♥ I'm trying my best to make them gain weight.
I already have a cat, Rasputin, and a french-bulldog, Zelda. I was worried they would feel offended by the presence of the babies in their home but they proved me wrong, behaving incredibly well and starting to accept the new ones in the family. I felt so relieved!
So June ended and July is starting out.
The first weekend of the month my hometown Modena hosted one of the biggest event I've ever witnessed: a live gig of Vasco Rossi, a rather old but still kick-ass rocker, with 220.000 people attending it. Please notice that Modena itself has almost 200.000 citizens, so for three days my town basically doubled itselft!
Vasco wanted to celebrate his 40th year on the music scene in his hometown, giving life to something incredible... and he did, with the public administration doing a very good job to keep everything in control and everyone safe.
I worked at the official merchandisign booth and even if he's not my favorite artist I can say it was great fun.
Also, I've never seen the streets of my town so full of people enjoying themselves and singing all together the same songs, with bars and pubs open 24/24h. With cars circulation interrupted, me and my friends (like everyone else!) had to move by bike, it was ages since the last time I got home at dawn riding a bike... I felt a teenager again LOL
I admit I was skeptical at the beginning as I wasn't sure public administration would have been able to handle this as good as they actually did. But at the end of the day, I'm grateful I could witness and being part of all the fun :)
Okay, now I think I'm done with updating you! ^^
In two weeks I'll be finally able to show you my new set, I cannot wait! Every time I have a set in member review I get nervous like a little girl at her first date ahah.
As usual, I promise you from naughty to fiery-hot pictures... so be sure you're not missing it out :P
xoxo
