Hi fellows Suiciderz ;) How are you all? I know, it's been a while.
I just got back home from my holidays, hit the bed at 4.30 a.m. tonight after a 8 hours ride from the South to the North of Italy, and after less than six hours of sleep - which is the least amount of time I need to fucking rest in order to get back to life! - I grabbed something to eat and got myself a beer, and here I am updating you.
Almost ready to start another crazy night out in order to party with friends as this is our last weekend before getting back to work.
On thursday 11 of August I drived back home from work singing out loud to songs on the radio, super-happy to be finally off from work after a final rush of stress and other shit I couln't bear anymore. Plus, I was going to be at my very first Zurich Street Parade! Once home, I found that - a tangible sign of holidays just starting out:Our group of friends was arund 30 people so this was just part of the alchol we brought with us, so... :D
Talking about the group of friends, here we are at our arrive in the Zurich square:
You can see me on the right, squatting in the first line, with the blue backpack and the tattoos. Weren't we awesome, eh? :D
We left heading to Zurich very early in the morning on friday, sun wan't even up, in order to cross the Swiss border before midday and enjoy the whole afternoon at the beautiful camping by the lake.
As I told you, it was my first time and I was too excited to mind at my boyfriend advices about how stupid it would be getting drunk on the first night and not being able to party the day after, on saturday, at the Street Parade. So I got high and got drunk anyway -.-
However, the morning after I was like... rise and fucking shine! I took a pill for my headache and I was ready to keep on partying.
It has been amazing!
Parade started out around midday and ended on midnight, there were so many trucks with different music, lots of djs and almost ONE MILLION PEOPLE! Official pictures are incredible, I can't believe we managed not to get lost!
We started following the truck number 1, with Loco Dice and Chris Liebing as djs, here's a pic of the two partying in consolle:
Talking about me and my friends, just fews steps behing truck 1 and we were drunk and high and having the best time of our life. At one point - don't ask me why - a shopping cart appeared and to us it seemed the most funny thing ever happened AHAHAH.
Oh, and for those who wonder: on that white bottle full of fresh water to restore us and people around, there was written "free lsd".
We partied, danced and raved for 12 hrs. Once back to the camping, I slept like a baby.
There are countless of anecdotes and funny stories about that crazy weekend, I coun't believe I was still able to have so much fun with my friends and my man.
Also, I coun't believe such an event was possible: almost one million people doing pretty much everything you expect to see at a rave party - but respecting each others - in front of the security that only cares about how idratated you are (as the sun was burning!), people of any age partying together: young couples, groups of friends, older couples, families... from all over the world! And the morning after, the town was as clean as usual. Simply amazing organization!
After that crazy weekend, the dude and I travelled back home and then in Salento, a land in the South of Italy, where we spent ten days sunbathing, swimming in a blue sea, eating amazing food and enjoying a sweet doing nothing.
I can never get enough of these colors! I try to keep them in mind for months to come, when grey will be the dominant tone everywhere around me: I'll close my eyes and I'll go back to these landscape.
There is also space for beautiful spot of arts, like the Cathedral of Otranto, a white mediterranean town:
Once again, so much fun and relax. And time! Time to spend together talking before some yummy dishes, or making love, or just staying silent on the beach, watching the sea. We needed it ♥
And you? What about your summer?
Did you have the chance to visit a new place - or maybe the old loved one?
In case you're still stuck at work or your holidays has just ended, may I suggest you to take a look at my last set Chianti Lovers? It's not like being really on holiday, but never say no to a glass of red whine to restore your senses ^^
xoxo
