Hi folks!
First and foremost, let me wish you a merry belated Christmas and a peaceful holiday season. Due to the crazy shifts at work and the help I had to give at home with decorating the place, organizing dinners and lunchs, preparing the presents and - most of all - cooking, I have had little to no time for SG these days. But hey, I'm back!
Right now I'm in bed with a terrible cold, feeling like shit. At least getting ill has prevented me from going back to work today. I'm not gonna take a step in the store until monday - and that's the bright side.
But let me tell you about these last days. I know it doesn't sound that punk, but I like Christmas. Maybe because my family still celebrates it with genuine spirit and true feelings - no pantomimes here, trust me. Or maybe because I'm still a child at heart, and I can't help finding magic in all those little things like baking cookies and decorating the tree!
Spending time with the family during Christmas holidays means also dealing with an incredible amount of food. I still can't believe how much I've eaten these days AHAH!
The red Lambrusco wine and the tortellini I'm showing you are just one of the many plates of the traditional Christmas lunch in this part of Italy.
And now, the dreaden question: what are you gonna do on New Year's Eve? I've procrastinated as much as I could but time has come to face the terrible decision. The dude and I are completely clueless! My dream NYE is far away in a foreign country, or on holiday on the snow... too bad, I'm gonna be working on January 2nd so no time for traveling. We'll see.
In other news, I'm still waiting to get my tattoo finished. It looks soooo good I can't even imagine how beautiful it'll be once complete.
