Ohai people
Yep, it's been a while.
Though the weather is still sunny and warm, summer is definitely coming to its end - this makes me a bit sad, even if this one has been my first summer as a full-time worker with close to zero free time. Sitting at my desk with the blue sky and the sunshine behind the window is way more inspiring than hearing the raindrops ticking on the pane, you know.
But I'm trying to concentrate on the good things that autumn will bring along: the golden colors of the leaves, the feel of the natural heat coming from the wood stove, and spending the evenings cuddling with the dude on the couch, drinking hot cups of tea and smoking weed. AHHHH! This makes season's change easier to bear, doesn't it?
However, while looking for the good sides of a season's change, I'm still enjoying this last days of summer. That's me with my little (yep he is LOL) brother at the seaside. He's such a grown up dude now: he's starting university in a month and he's dating a cute little lady too! I'm so proud of him
Oh, and I've been on a sailing boat! So exciting, never been there before: sipping wine and sunbathing on the prow made me feel like I was in a P. Diddy video. Cool
Dirty feet as I'm a chica di barrio, you know.
On a more serious note, if there's something I do hope autumn will bring me is luck. Like, seriously.
First of all, I had to deal with the horrible car crash I told you about. It's incredible how my boyfriend car survived the accident and was ready to go back on the road two days after the whole thing - while my car, which I treat like my own daughter, started to give me issues due to what I discovered was a manufacturing motor defect and needed to be brought to a mechanic's. Thanks God the car was still under insurance, otherwise I would have spent something like 300!
Later that week, I basically flushed my Samsung mobile down the toilet Needless to say, it doesn't work anymore and I'm dealing with a prehistoric mobile phone without internet and all that jazz... that's why I'm not updating my Instagram that often!
But it looks like I won't stop spending my money on the damn technology: it's been months now since my Macbook battery has stopped worked properly, I fear after almost four years of usage it needs to be changed.
But let's not get into a pity party please... as I've taken pictures with my webcam
As some like it dirty...

Now please, do me a favor: visit the RedBull TourBus Page and vote for the SAID band. You just need to click on "VOTA LA BAND" and then follow the link.
It's my dude band and they truly deserve to win the contest!

Yeah, I'm sad that summer is over as well. It's still a little warm here in Los Angeles but the days are getting shorter
