"I don't know driving in another way which isn't risky.
Each one has to improve himself. Each driver has its limit.
My limit is a little bit further than other's" - Ayrton Senna
I don't know if you have ever followed F1 but I did and still do, when you're born in Modena you can't just skip to another channel and miss the Grand Prix. I mean, I'm not an authority when it comes to cars but since I was a little child I've always followed F1 and supported the Ferrari team, though getting the chance to appreciate pilots from other teams.
Ayrton Senna has always been one of my favorites, and even if I was 6 y.o. I still remember the day he died... Nineteen years ago like today, we lost a real champion.

And to this day, none of that has changed - he's gone, but he still represents everything mentioned and he'll always be respected for the great man and racer he was.
I was very young back when he died, but I still remember how sad I felt when I heard he had died and how much I cried. I tried not to cry, I went to the bathroom so people wouldn't see me cry, but my father knew and tried to ease my mind talking to me through the door.
We lost more than a real champion back then... We lost one of the greatest men to have lived.
I hope he's at rest, wherever he is now.
And thank you for this post. It was a very good, heart-warming read.
